Job summary

DYNAMIK PERUNDING SDN.BHD in Subang Jaya, Malaysia is seeking a motivated civil engineer with a Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering to join our project teams. The role requires good command of English and Bahasa Melayu, and a proactive, independent work style. You will supervise daily construction activities, ensure compliance with drawings and specs, perform inspections, and coordinate with contractors to resolve issues during the Defect Liability Period.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent required.
• English and Bahasa Melayu required.
• Good personality, responsible, fast learner and hardworking.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, monitor, coordinate and control daily construction works in accordance with drawings and plans.
• Ensure works match drawings, specifications and procedures.
• Execute inspections and tests per ITPs and utilize QC measures per the QMS.
• Issue memos to contractors for non-compliance with quality standards, drawings and specs.
• Prepare and update daily reports, verify progress reports and attend site meetings.
• Check drawings and specs; report discrepancies to GM/PM.
• Coordinate with contractors for defect rectification during the Defect Liability Period.
• Basic knowledge in M&E works is an added advantage.

Job description

Candidate must possess at least Diploma / Degree in Engineering (civil) or equivalent.

Required language (s) : English, Bahasa Melayu

Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:-

Supervise, monitor, coordinate and control all daily construction works and adhere to document control procedure.

Ensure that all works executed are in accordance with drawings, specifications, construction plans and procedures.

Execute inspections and tests as per inspection and Test Plans and to utilize quality control mechanisms as provided for by quality management system.

Issue memo to contractors for non-compliance of the required Quality Standard, Construction drawings and Specifications.

Prepare and update daily report, verify progress report and attending to site meeting.

Check construction drawings and specifications. Report to GM/PM if any discrepancy is found.

Liaise with contractors for defect rectification works during the Defect Liability Period.

Basic knowledge in M&E works added advantage.
