Job summary

VAT Group is seeking a Process Engineer in Batu Kawan, Malaysia, for permanent placement to drive production readiness and optimize cleaning processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support new implementations, qualification, and NPI.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in cleaning-related disciplines and a degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Materials Engineering or Chemistry, with emphasis on cleaning technologies and process improvements.

Qualifications

2 years of experience in cleaning related discipline (aqueous/solvent cleaning, precision cleaning).
Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Material Engineering or Chemistry.

Responsibilities

Support new machine setup installation, safety buyoff and cleanliness qualification.
Create and optimize workstations and tooling based on process requirements.
Review and improve processes and procedures for handling equipment; keep operators updated.
Collaborate with NPI, Fixture Designer, CADCAM Programmer and Production on DFMA and new product development.
Support NPI for new products feasibility study and advise on cleaning workflow and packaging.
In-charge for contamination control and pre-packing of products.
Establish QC guidelines and monitor cleaning line to meet customer specs.
Provide training to production staff on safety and efficiency in manufacturing.
