Job summary

Frontken Corporation Berhad is seeking engineers to develop and optimize precision cleaning processes used in semiconductor manufacturing. The role focuses on establishing cleaning parameters and monitoring process performance to improve yield and efficiency.

You will conduct root cause analysis for cleaning defects, collaborate with QA/QC to define cleanliness criteria, and prepare SOPs and process documentation while ensuring regulatory and industry standards are met.

Qualifications

Develop and optimize precision cleaning processes (e.g., ultrasonic cleaning, aqueous cleaning, solvent cleaning).

Establish and maintain cleaning parameters (temperature, time, chemistry, agitation, etc.).

Monitor process performance and implement improvements to enhance yield and efficiency.

Conduct root cause analysis for cleaning defects and contamination issues.

Ensure compliance with customer specifications and industry standards (Semiconductor)

Work closely with QA/QC to define cleanliness acceptance criteria and testing methods.

Prepare and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and process documentation.

Perform risk assessments and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Ensure Engineering Department activities comply with QEMS requirements.

Collaborate with maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and uptime.

Train operators and technicians on cleaning processes and best practices.

Monitor and control chemical usage, waste, and environmental compliance.

Knowledge of FMEA, SPC, and other engineering skills will be an advantage.
