Job summary

Carlist.my (iCar Asia Sdn. Bhd.) is seeking a Classifieds Sales Manager in Bayan Lepas, Penang, Malaysia.

You will lead and develop a high-performing team, drive the classifieds and listings sales strategy, ensure compliant and accurate advertising, and build strong relationships with dealers and senior stakeholders. The role requires extensive experience in automotive sales, people management, and strong knowledge of advertising processes and digital tools.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in automotive or dealer environment in Malaysia.
• 2+ years in sales management or senior sales roles.
• Knowledge of advertising processes, campaigns and marketplace platforms.
• Strong organisational, time management and communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and email.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the classifieds and listings sales strategy to grow revenue.
• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing sales team.
• Manage advertising budgets and ensure compliant, accurate listings.
• Coordinate campaigns with inventory and marketing teams.
• Monitor KPIs, forecasts and reporting for sales performance.
• Engage with dealers and senior stakeholders to secure contracts.
