Job summary

Private Advertiser in Johor Bahru, Malaysia is seeking Junior and Senior Claims Executives to manage and process insurance claims with accuracy, efficiency and professionalism. You will be the primary contact for claimants, register and review claims, assess coverage, gather evidence, coordinate payments, maintain files, and update claimants on timelines while ensuring compliance.

Responsibilities

• Receive, acknowledge and register incoming insurance claims from claimants and related parties.
• Review claim documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy, requesting additional information as required.
• Assess claims against policy terms and conditions to determine validity and coverage eligibility.
• Investigate claims by gathering evidence, conducting interviews with claimants and relevant witnesses, and liaising with loss adjusters where necessary.
• Process claim payments, coordinate with finance and authorise disbursements in accordance with company procedures.
• Maintain detailed and organised claim files, including all documentation, correspondence and decisions made.
• Provide regular updates to claimants regarding the status of their claims and expected resolution timelines.
• Identify and report suspected fraudulent claims to the appropriate department.
• Ensure all claims are processed in compliance with relevant legislation and company policies.
• Liaise with external parties such as brokers, solicitors, medical professionals and repair contractors as needed.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and share feedback on process enhancements.
