Element Materials Technology is seeking a Civil Material Technician in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. The role focuses on testing, sample preparation, and delivery/collection of samples, with responsibility for preparing test reports.

The ideal candidate has a Civils qualification with 2+ years in a similar role, strong communication, and teamwork abilities, and is willing to work in Johor Bahru.

Formación

• Diploma / degree in Civils with at least 2-year experience in similar role.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in teams and to work under pressure.
• Willing to work in Johor Bahru, Malaysia.

Responsabilidades

• Perform soil, concrete, rebar and aggregate testing.
• Conduct density test.
• Sampling of concrete for compression and flexural test.
• Conduct slump testing.
• Have an idea / conduct asphalt testing (preferable).
• Prepare and compile reports.

Element has an opportunity for a Civil Material Technician for testing, sample preparation and delivery/collection of samples and preparation of test reports. Candidates should ideally have gained considerable experience in construction material testing either with a commercial test house or contractor.

Responsibilities:

• Perform soil, concrete, rebar and aggregate testing
• Conduct density test
• Sampling of concrete for compression and flexural test
• Conduct slump testing
• Have an idea / conduct asphalt testing (preferable)
• Prepare and compile reports
