Job summary

KOM Technologies (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a lab technician to perform routine concrete and material testing in our Johor facility. You will prepare samples, conduct tests, and record results following set specifications and procedures.

The role requires a Diploma/Certificate in Civil Engineering or Laboratory Technology. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, with opportunities to grow in a certified precast concrete manufacturer.

Qualifications

• Certificate/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Laboratory Technology, or related field.
• Experience in precast concrete, concrete testing, or QA/QC is an advantage.
• Good attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine concrete and material testing, including rotate testing.
• Prepare samples and conduct laboratory tests according to specifications and procedures.
• Record, compile, and report test results accurately.
• Maintain proper laboratory records and documentation.
• Ensure the laboratory, equipment, and testing area are clean and well maintained.
• Follow all laboratory and workplace safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Report any abnormal test results, equipment issues, or safety hazards to the supervisor.
