Job summary

Perunding Rekamaju Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a motivated Civil & Structural Engineer to support design and delivery across high-rise, commercial, industrial and infra projects.

You’ll work with the engineering team on civil and structural design, analysis, authority submissions, and project coordination, from design through construction, while expanding technical capabilities and building a long-term career.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• Preferably 1-5 years of relevant experience in a civil and structural engineering consultancy.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with Prota, MIDAS, STAAD.Pro or equivalent will be an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and creatively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Willing to learn, take responsibility and work on challenging projects.
• Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Certification as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or equivalent is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conducting detailed structural analysis and design for buildings and infrastructure.
• Prepare and review drawings, design reports, specifications and documentation.
• Coordinate with architects, M&E consultants, geotechnical consultants, contractors.
• Attend project meetings and liaise with clients and contractors to resolve issues.
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during construction.
• Assist in preparing and submitting documents to authorities.
• Ensure designs comply with Malaysian standards and authority requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Engineer, Senior Engineer or management.
