Job summary

Confidential in Malaysia seeks a Site Coordinator for our Tanjung Langsat Johor project. The role focuses on supervising civil and structural works, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications and method statements.

You will coordinate with contractors and suppliers, monitor progress, maintain QA/QC, and uphold health, safety & environment rules on site. Diploma/Certificate in civil engineering and at least 3 years of site experience required; willing to work extended hours.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of site experience in civil and structural works.
• Able to understand technical drawings and specifications.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willing to work extended hours or weekends when required.

Responsibilities

• Site Coordination & Supervision on project site.
• Supervise daily civil and structural works per drawings, specs and method statements.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers and site workers for smooth progress.
• Monitor work sequences to ensure construction practices and safety.
• Quality Control: inspect workmanship, rebar, formworks, concreting, masonry and finishing.
• Ensure materials meet approved specs and QA/QC requirements.
• Highlight non-conformities and drive corrective actions.
• Progress Monitoring: track daily site progress; report to Site Manager.
• Prepare daily site reports, progress photos and update status.
• Ensure completion within schedule; resolve site constraints promptly.
• HSE: ensure safety rules followed; report unsafe acts/conditions.

We are an established EPCC for palm oil downstream projects. We are recruiting for our new project in Tanjung Langsat for Ultra high volume palm oil refinery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Site Coordination & Supervision
• Supervise daily civil and structure works to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers and site workers to ensure smooth progress of work.
• Monitor work sequences to ensure proper construction practices and safety procedures are followed.
• Quality Control
• Inspect and verify workmanship, structural elements, rebar works, formworks, concreting, masonry and finishing work.
• Ensure materials delivered to site comply with approved specification and QA/QC requirements.
• Highlight non-conformities and ensure corrective action are taken.
• Progress Monitoring
• Track daily site progress and report to Site Manager.
• Prepare daily site reports, progress photo, and update work status.
• Ensure work is completed within schedule, resolving site constraints promptly.
• Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
• Ensure all site personnel comply with safety rules and regulations.
• Report unsafe acts/ conditions and enforce corrective action.
