Job summary

Private Advertiser in Malaysia is seeking a site supervisor with a civil engineering background to oversee daily civil, structural, and mechanical works, ensuring adherence to drawings, specs and method statements. You will coordinate with contractors and suppliers, monitor progress, conduct QA/QC, enforce HSE rules, and prepare daily progress reports to keep the project on schedule.

Ability to interpret drawings, specs and method statements.
Willing to work extended hours and weekends if required by site progress.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily civil and structure or mechanical works to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and method statements.
Coordinate with contractors, suppliers and site workers to ensure smooth progress of work.
Monitor work sequences to ensure proper construction practices and safety procedures are followed.
Inspect and verify workmanship, structural elements, rebar works, formworks, concreting and finishing work.
Ensure materials delivered to site comply with approved specification and QA/QC requirements.
Highlight non-conformities and ensure corrective action are taken.
Track daily site progress and report to Site Manager.
Prepare daily site reports, progress, and update work status.
Ensure work is completed within schedule, resolving site constraints promptly.
Ensure all site personnel comply with safety rules and regulations.
