YANJIAN GROUP CONSTRUCTION (M) SDN BHD is seeking a Civil Structural & Architectural Engineer (Building Construction) with strong on-site supervision skills in Penang. The role requires at least 5 years of relevant experience and a degree or diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering.

You will read and interpret drawings, coordinate with architects and subcontractors, monitor progress, and ensure quality per project specs. Salary is negotiable based on qualifications and experience.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise and coordinate civil and structural works on-site to ensure work follows drawings, specs and schedules.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and project teams to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth site operations.
• Monitor site progress, inspect workmanship, and ensure construction quality complies with project requirements and standards.
• Read and interpret structural drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
• Attend site coordination meetings and prepare progress reports and documentation.

Civil Structural & Architectural Engineer (Building Construction)

Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in civil and structural engineering works, preferably in building construction projects.

Possess a Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.

Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes

Able to read and interpret structural drawings, construction drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications.

Experienced in supervising and coordinating civil and structural works on-site to ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, project specifications, and construction schedules.

Able to coordinate with architects, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and other project teams to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth site operations.

Responsible for monitoring site progress, inspecting workmanship, and ensuring construction quality complies with project requirements and relevant standards.

Relevant qualification in Building or Construction, with project management experience and knowledge of the Penang construction market.

Coordinate on-site construction activities with subcontractors and workers to ensure work progress, quality, and compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

Monitor construction progress and quality, and coordinate the inspection and approval processes for structural and architectural works, including participation in the Certificate of Practical Completion (CPC) inspection and handover process.

Attend site coordination meetings chaired by the Project Architect and prepare regular progress reports.

Prepare, compile, submit, and follow up on Request for Approval (RFA), Request for Information (RFI), and other relevant project documentation.

Maintain and organize all construction-related documents and records throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring proper documentation and timely submission.

Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Project Manager.
