China Construction Third Engineering (M) Sdn Bhd invites applications for a Site Technical Assistant (Civil) to support the Project Technical Director and civil engineers at an industrial plant project in Gurun, Kedah. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or related fields, has at least 3 years of site experience in Malaysia, and is proficient in AutoCAD, Excel and Word,

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of site experience in Malaysia.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Excel and Word.
• Good command of English for site coordination and reporting.
• Able to prepare technical documents such as RFIs, inspection records and site reports.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Technical Director and engineers with day-to-day site technical management and construction coordination.
• Review drawings for discrepancies and coordinate with consultants and subcontractors.
• Prepare and follow up on RFIs and technical clarification documents.
• Assist in preparing Method Statements and ITPs for consultant approval.
• Coordinate with local design consultants, testing agencies and subcontractors for inspections and submissions.
• Assist with site quality inspections and construction records.
