Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Civil Engineer / Site Engineer to oversee daily civil construction activities at a major project site in Malaysia. You will ensure works follow approved drawings, specifications, and schedules, review method statements, and coordinate with project teams, QA/QC, and HSE.

Minimum Diploma in Civil Engineering with 1 year of field experience is required; experience in TNB or solar projects is a plus. Willing to travel.

Qualifications

Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
1 year of experience as Civil Engineer/Site Engineer in construction (prefer large-scale projects).
Experience in TNB projects / Solar Projects is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily civil construction activities at the project site.
Monitor site progress to meet approved schedule and milestones.
Review construction drawings, method statements, and technical documents before works.
Coordinate with Project Manager, consultants, subcontractors, QA/QC, HSE for smooth project execution.
Supervise earthworks, concrete works, foundations, drainage, and related civil works.
Ensure compliance with quality requirements and construction standards.
Coordinate survey teams for setting out, alignment, and level control.
Prepare progress reports and site records; support progress claims.
Ensure safety compliance with HSE during all civil activities.
