Job summary

TimesConsult Malaysia is seeking a Civil Engineer to supervise and coordinate site activities for plumbing, civil, structural, and water pipeline works.

Fresh graduates or candidates with 1–2 years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply. A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field is required, with BEM registration an added advantage. Must be able to read drawings, hold a valid driving licence, own transport, and be willing to travel to construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily site activities for plumbing, civil, and water pipeline works.
• Monitor project progress and ensure activities follow the planned schedule.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, clients, and authorities for smooth execution.
• Ensure works comply with approved drawings, method statements, and specifications.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor construction quality.
• Prepare site records, progress and inspection reports, and related documentation.

• Supervise and coordinate daily site activities involving plumbing, civil, structural, and water pipeline works.
• Monitor project progress and ensure construction activities are completed according to the planned schedule.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, clients, and relevant authorities to ensure smooth project execution.
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, method statements, specifications, and project requirements.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor the quality of construction works.
• Prepare daily site records, progress reports, inspection reports, and other required documentation.
• Assist in coordinating manpower, materials, machinery, and equipment requirements at site.
• Ensure compliance with site safety procedures, permit requirements, and applicable regulations.
• Liaise with water utility providers, local councils, and relevant authorities when required.
• Attend site meetings, coordination meetings, and technical discussions.
• Identify and resolve technical and operational issues encountered during construction.
• Monitor testing, commissioning, reinstatement, and related pipeline works.
• Ensure proper submission and maintenance of project documentation, including RFI, inspection forms, and as‑built drawings.
