Job summary

Khairi Consult Sdn Bhd is seeking a Civil Engineer to join the Bridge Department at HQ in Sri Gombak. The role handles assisting senior engineers in bridge design, drawings, and reports, with on-site support and coordination across disciplines.

Fresh graduates are welcome, and the candidate should be willing to travel for site assignments and work extra hours during critical submissions. Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent required.

• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD; knowledge of structural analysis software is a plus.

Employment Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities

1. Assist senior engineers in the preparation and review of bridge engineering designs, drawings, calculations and technical reports.
2. Support site activities, including inspections, measurements and verification of works in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.
3. Assist in reviewing shop drawings, method statements and technical submissions.
4. Prepare engineering calculations, schedules and technical documentation under supervision.
5. Coordinate with project teams and other disciplines to ensure project requirements are met.
6. Perform other engineering duties as assigned by the Project Engineer or Project Manager.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
2. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
3. Basic knowledge of Autodesk AutoCAD.
4. Knowledge of structural analysis and design software would be an advantage.
