Job summary

SPEKTRA BUMIMAS SDN BHD is seeking a diligent Civil Engineering supervisor to oversee daily site activities and ensure work conforms to drawings, specifications, and project requirements. You will liaise with Project Managers, Site Engineers, subcontractors and consultants to coordinate progress and quality on site.

The role demands strong communication, problem solving and organizational skills, willingness to travel to project sites, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent recognized qualification.
• Knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods, technical drawings and site supervision.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily civil engineering and construction activities to ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, subcontractors and other project personnel to ensure smooth project execution.
• Review construction drawings, technical documents and work specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor project progress, workmanship, materials and site resources to meet project schedules and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with safety requirements, quality procedures and relevant construction regulations.
• Identify site issues, technical discrepancies and construction challenges, and propose appropriate solutions.
• Prepare and maintain site reports, progress updates, inspection records and other required technical documentation.
• Attend site meetings, inspections and coordination sessions as required
