Zusammenfassung

VNM Engineering Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a Civil/Structural Engineer to join our design team. You will carry out detailed analysis and design of civil, structural, and geotechnical works, and prepare design calculation reports and structural drawings for authorities’ submissions.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Strong fundamentals in geotechnical and structural analysis/design.
• Knowledge of design/drafting software such as Autocad, Staad Pro, Plaxis, Prota, Tedds.

Jobbeschreibung

The scope of work include but not limited to

Carry out detailed analysis and design of civil, structural, and geotechnical works;

Prepare design calculation reports and structural drawings for authorities' submissions.

Coordinate with various stakeholders such as clients, consultants, and contractors for projects; and

From time-to-time assign, on a temporary basis, duties outside the normal nature of your employment and overseas assignment.

This position is a hybrid work arrangement. You will be primarily working-from-home (WFH). Fresh graduates are more likely to be considered for Work-from-Office (WFO) roles instead. You may be required to travel locally and overseas from time to time for assignments.

Requirements

Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from a recognized Institution with excellent results

Strong engineering fundamentals and analytical skills in geotechnical and structural analysis and design work would be an advantage;

A good knowledge of the application of design and drafting software such as Autocad, Staad Pro, Plaxis, Prota, and Tedds would be an advantage;

Candidates without working experience are welcome to apply.

To be considered for more senior positions, at least 3 years of design experience for executive engineers and at least 5 years of design experience for senior engineers.

Fluent in Mandarin and English to communicate with overseas clients who are native speakers.
