Job summary

OCBC seeks a Business Development Manager for Premier Cash Team – China Business. You will drive new business acquisition, build strategic partnerships, and deepen relationships with SME/Commercial clients across cross-border opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years in sales, strong negotiation skills, and a proactive, results-oriented mindset. Chinese language skills are an advantage for China-related work.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in acquiring new customers and achieving sales targets.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to build long-term relationships with business clients.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities to grow the customer base and revenue.
• Proactively acquire new-to-bank customers through networking, referrals, market outreach and partnerships.
• Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective customers and ensure timely follow-up and conversion.
• Understand customers’ business needs and provide suitable cash management solutions to support growth.
• Build strong relationships with business owners and key decision makers to drive cross-sell opportunities.
• Establish strategic partnerships and maximize cross-group opportunities.
