Job summary

HETRONIKS SDN. BHD. in Batu Kawan, Penang, seeks an experienced Operations Manager to lead the Service Department, ensuring efficient service delivery, timely customer responses, and strong chiller competency.

You will supervise technicians and coordinators, optimize planning and scheduling, manage inventory and logistics, and drive continuous improvement while upholding safety and ISO standards. Candidates should have 5+ years in chiller service operations, leadership ability, and proficiency

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in chiller service operations.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication, planning, and organizational abilities.
Proficient in MS Office and ERP/service management systems.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Lead service department operations to ensure timely customer responses and requests.
Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions to improve service quality.
Develop and optimize service planning, scheduling, and resource use.
Manage inventory, spare parts, tools, and consumables; coordinate with procurement.
Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain; escalate issues as needed.
Prepare regular service performance and inventory reports and maintain ISO-compliant records.
