Job summary

PeopleLAKE Group in Malaysia seeks an experienced COO or General Manager of Operations to lead day-to-day performance across its diversified business units spanning food manufacturing, recycling, plastics piping, and logistics. You will report to the CEO and Board, drive strategic initiatives, and foster a high-performance culture.

This role demands 12–15 years of senior management experience, including at least 5 years in operations, with a track record in multi-site environments and PLC

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
• MBA or Master's degree is highly advantageous.
• 12–15 years of senior management experience, with at least 5 years in operations leadership.
• Experience in multi-site, diversified, or complex operations.
• Advantageous: PLC or diversified conglomerate exposure.

Responsibilities

• Translate the Group’s strategic vision into actionable operational plans for all divisions.
• Lead large-scale transformation projects and oversee acquisition integrations.
• Establish, monitor KPIs and budgets, and pursue cost-control initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Develop senior management, coaching, and succession planning across the group.
