Chief Accountant | Financial Controller | Up to RM12K

We are seeking an experienced Chief Accountant / Financial Controller to lead the finance and accounting function of an established manufacturing organization. This is a key leadership position reporting directly to the CEO, with responsibility for overseeing financial operations, supporting strategic business decisions, and ensuring strong financial planning and control across the organization.

What You'll Be Doing

Lead and oversee the overall finance and accounting functions of the organization.

Manage and maintain strong relationships with bankers, financial institutions, auditors, and other key financial stakeholders.

Provide strategic financial advice and insights to the CEO and senior management.

Support the CEO in financial planning, business decisions, budgeting, and strategic initiatives.

Oversee financial plans, budgets, cash flow management, forecasting, and other key financial matters.

Analyze financial performance and identify practical and alternative solutions to support management decision-making.

Supervise, mentor, and develop the finance team to ensure effective and efficient financial operations.

Monitor financial controls, accounting processes, and reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Work closely with management to improve financial performance, cost management, and overall business efficiency.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on finance-related matters and strategic business requirements.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline from a recognized university.

Professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA/ICMA, CPA, or equivalent is highly preferred.

Minimum 10 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, with experience in a senior or responsible position.

Strong hands-on experience within the manufacturing industry is required.

Prior experience in an established manufacturing company is highly preferred.

Experience in audit, preferably with a mid-tier or large audit firm, will be an advantage.

MNC experience is preferred.

Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, cash flow, and management reporting.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
