Bluewater Lab seeks a Chemical Operations & Business Development Executive to support regulatory licensing, safety compliance, and supplier sourcing for our wastewater treatment activities in Malaysia. Fresh graduates are welcome and will receive training in licensing, storage, and operations.

The role blends chemical operations with business development, requiring entrepreneurial mindset, ownership of tasks from start to finish, and the ability to work closely with management on new initiatives

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply and local Malaysian graduates are preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Willingness to own tasks and work in a fast-moving startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate applications for chemical licences and permits; liaise with authorities.
• Ensure proper chemical storage, labelling, and safety compliance.
• Identify local and international chemical suppliers and negotiate terms.
• Support ongoing wastewater treatment projects and ad-hoc operations.
