Job summary

Luxchem Polymer Industries Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia is seeking a QA/Lab professional to initiate and develop new product formulations based on supplier input, and to provide lab testing and technical support for customer requests.

The role includes coaching a Lab Technician to maintain QC/QA standards and releasing COAs that meet customer specifications. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, with a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Science (Chemistry) and at least 2 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, preferably with a Chemistry major.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience; fresh graduates are welcome.
• Industry knowledge in chemicals or polymer-related fields is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and carry out testing and development of new product formulations based on supplier input to meet market needs.
• Provide lab testing and technical support for customer complaints to ensure requirements are fulfilled.
• Coach and guide Lab Technicians in QC/QA duties to meet specifications.
• Release Certificate of Analysis (COA) that meets customer requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor and management.

Job description

Initiate and carry out testing and development work of new product formulations based on technological input from suppliers / overseas partner in order to meet customer / market requirement.

Implement investigation and lab testing / technical support to all customer complaints to ensure customers' needs and expectation have been fulfilled.

Coach and guide Lab Technician in the discharge of his / her duties in daily QC / QA operation to ensure meeting specification requirements.

Release Certificate of Analysis (COA) that meets customer specified requirements.

Perform other duties as and when required by the immediate superior and management.

Qualifications:

At least a Bachelor's Degree in Science preferably majoring in Chemistry or equivalent.

At least 2 years of working experience in the related field
