FerroTec seeks a seasoned Cleaning Process Engineer to design, develop, and optimize industrial cleaning systems for equipment, components, and surfaces. You will assess chemical, mechanical, and ultrasonic methods, select appropriate agents, and validate procedures to meet strict industry standards.
Collaborating with production, QA, and R&D, you will troubleshoot issues, maintain SOPs, analyze performance metrics, and ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance.

Design, develop, and implement cleaning processes for equipment, components, and surfaces.
Analyze and optimize cleaning methods, including chemical, mechanical, and ultrasonic cleaning techniques.
Evaluate and select appropriate cleaning agents, solvents, and detergents based on material compatibility and regulatory compliance.
Conduct contamination control studies and validate cleaning procedures to meet industry standards.
Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and R&D teams to troubleshoot and resolve cleaning-related issues.
Develop and maintain cleaning validation protocols, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and documentation.
Monitor and analyze cleaning performance metrics to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations related to cleaning processes.
Train and support staff on proper cleaning techniques and equipment operation.
Stay up to date with emerging cleaning technologies and industry best practices.
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
5 years of experience in industrial cleaning processes, surface treatment, or contamination control.
Strong knowledge of cleaning chemistry, surface interactions, and contamination control principles.
Familiarity with industry regulations such as ISO, FDA, GMP, or aerospace cleanliness standards.
Experience with analytical techniques such as particle counting, spectroscopy, or microscopy.
Proficiency in troubleshooting cleaning equipment and automation systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
