Job summary

Hilton Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Chef de Partie to join our Culinary team. You will prepare food for guests and colleagues per recipes, assist the Sous Chef, and maintain high standards of presentation and hygiene.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in a 5‑star hotel or renowned restaurant, minimum 1 year as Demi Chef de Partie in an international brand, and a hospitality or culinary education. English proficiency is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school graduate.
• Minimum 3 years in a 5‑star hotel or restaurant.
• At least 1 year as Demi Chef de Partie or equivalent in an international brand hotel.
• Technical education in hospitality or culinary school preferred.
• Possess a valid health certificate.
• Knowledgeable in HACCP.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food for guests and team members per recipes.
• Assist Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations.
• Plan and implement high quality food and beverage products and setups.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene per FSMS standards.
• Assist in inventory taking.
• Work on off-site events when tasked.
• Coordinate with Stewarding to ensure cleanliness and prevent loss.
