Job summary

Hilton Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Chef de Partie to support Sous Chef, prepare dishes per recipes, and maintain hygiene per FSMS/HACCP standards. Strong English communication and a passion for quality in a fast-paced kitchen are essential. This is a full-time on-site role.

Qualifications

• High school graduate.
• At least 3 years' experience in a 5-star hotel or high‑end restaurant.
• Minimum 1 year as Demi Chef de Partie or equivalent in an international brand hotel.
• Technical education in hospitality or culinary school preferred.
• Possess a valid health certificate.
• Familiar with cooking, storage and receiving standards.
• Able to set priorities and complete tasks promptly.
• Work well under pressure in a moist, hot environment.
• Knowledgeable in HACCP and food safety.
• Experience in international chain hotels is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food for guests and team members efficiently, economically and hygienically.
• Assist the Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations and uphold high standards.
• Plan and implement high quality food and beverage products and setups.
• Work with recipes, standards and plating guides to ensure consistency.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene per FSMS standards and HACCP.
• Assist in inventory taking and coordinating with Stewarding.
• Prepare menus as requested and support off-site events when needed.
• Carry out duties outside the kitchen area as required.
