Job summary

Bond M&E (KL) Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled electrical maintenance professional to operate, maintain, inspect and troubleshoot Low Voltage systems. You will ensure compliance with ST regulations and safety standards while coordinating works by contractors and documenting performance.

The role requires AO and PW4 certificates, 2–5 years’ relevant experience, and willingness to travel to project sites. Knowledge of LV systems, switchgear, generators, transformers, UPS, and protection systems is

Qualifications

• Possess a valid Competent Chargeman AO (Low Voltage) Certificate issued by the Energy Commission (ST), Malaysia.
• Possess a valid Wireman PW4 Certificate issued by the Energy Commission (ST), Malaysia.
• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant working experience in electrical maintenance, building services, industrial facilities, or data centre environments.
• Knowledge of Low Voltage electrical systems, switchgear, generators, transformers, UPS systems, and electrical protection systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Responsible, disciplined, and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Own transport and willing to travel or be stationed at project sites when required.
• Experience in Data Centre, Commercial Building, Industrial Plant, or Critical Facility operations will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, inspect, and troubleshoot Low Voltage electrical systems.

• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

Job description

Responsible for the operation, maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting of Low Voltage (LV) electrical systems.

Ensure all electrical installations and maintenance works comply with Energy Commission (ST) regulations and safety requirements.

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment, switchboards, transformers, generators, and associated systems.

Monitor electrical system performance and maintain operational records and reports.

Attend to electrical breakdowns and emergency situations promptly.

Supervise and coordinate electrical works carried out by contractors and subcontractors.

Conduct routine inspections and testing of electrical installations.

Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies at all times.

Liaise with clients, consultants, authorities, and project teams regarding electrical matters.

Perform any other duties assigned by Management from time to time.
