Job summary

Bond M&E (KL) Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled electrical maintenance professional to operate, maintain, inspect and troubleshoot Low Voltage systems. You will ensure compliance with ST regulations and safety standards while coordinating works by contractors and documenting performance.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid Competent Chargeman AO (Low Voltage) Certificate issued by the Energy Commission (ST), Malaysia.
• Possess a valid Wireman PW4 Certificate issued by the Energy Commission (ST), Malaysia.
• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant working experience in electrical maintenance, building services, industrial facilities, or data centre environments.
• Knowledge of Low Voltage electrical systems, switchgear, generators, transformers, UPS systems, and electrical protection systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Responsible, disciplined, and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Own transport and willing to travel or be stationed at project sites when required.
• Experience in Data Centre, Commercial Building, Industrial Plant, or Critical Facility operations will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, inspect, and troubleshoot Low Voltage electrical systems.
• Ensure all installations and maintenance comply with Energy Commission regulations and safety requirements.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment, switchboards, transformers, generators, and related systems.
• Monitor system performance and maintain records and reports.
• Attend electrical breakdowns and emergencies promptly.
• Supervise electrical works by contractors and subcontractors.
• Conduct routine inspections and testing of installations.
• Comply with safety procedures and company policies.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, authorities, and project teams on electrical matters.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
