Job summary

Edgenta FIRST Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a role focused on operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of plant electrical facilities, machines and equipment to meet safety and environmental standards. The position requires hands-on experience with electrical installations, panel testing, and adherence to energy regulations, plus the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

A successful candidate will support preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize power interruptions

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in operation and maintenance of electrical facilities.
• Experience in testing and inspection of electrical installations.

• Knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and troubleshoot plant electrical facilities and equipment.
• Monitor electrical installations for compliance with standards and regulations.
• Conduct inspections and testing of electrical installations, panels and facilities.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize outages.
• Liaise with clients and local authorities on electrical installations.
• Maintain accurate data records for electrical installation inventory.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of plant electrical facilities, machines, equipment and system to meet the statutory regulations, environment and safety standard.
• Monitor & administer on electrical installation in term of compliance to standard / act / regulation related to energy as well as tracking all related activities.
• Conduct inspection and testing for all electrical installation, panel and facilities as per regulatory requirement.
• Responsible for preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize power interruption and machinery/equipment breakdown and carry out repairing works if necessary.
• Liaise with client and local authority to ensure compliance for electrical installation.
• Ensure accuracy data recorded and filling system in place for all electrical installation inventory.

Job Requirements:

• High School Certificate
• Certified Chargeman grade A4
• At least 1-3 Year(s) of hands-on experience in the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical facilities, machines, and equipment.
• Proven experience in preventive and predictive maintenance, minimizing power interruptions, and repairing electrical systems.
• Able to work independent and collaboratively as part of a team.
