Job summary

IOI City Mall Sdn Bhd is seeking a maintenance professional to perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems across the mall premises. The role includes monitoring switchboards, tenants' meters, solar systems, lighting in common areas and parking zones, and responding to emergencies to ensure uninterrupted operations.

The candidate should have at least 2-3 years in related fields with AO/A1 certification preferred, and be willing to work overtime,

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a SPM, SKM, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma or equivalent.
• AO or A1 certificate holder.
• Minimum 2-3 years working experience in related fields.
• Able to work overtime and on weekends or Public Holidays.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on all mechanical and electrical systems, including switchboards, DBs and tenants' sub-kWh meters, power usage and cable connections to ensure all systems are in good operating conditions at all times.
• Perform daily checks on LV1 & LV2 systems as well as solar systems. Ensure there is no overloading on main switch; and that in-coming voltage in within normal limits.
• Check and maintain all common area and parking area lighting to ensure proper working condition. Repair or replace lights or bulbs indoor or outdoor when needed (including street lights).
• Ensure the car park central monitoring system is checked regularly and the car park barriers, control panels and power supply are all maintained in good working condition.
• Maintain and execute scheduled maintenance plans without any delay and meeting the standards. Accurate and timely maintenance record keeping.
• Respond to building emergencies, electrical failures and water interruptions.
• Quick respond tenant maintenance complaints.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical fault circuit/system and provide recommendation to minimize re-occurrence or long term solution.
• Develop and implement emergency procedures & SOPs.
• Monitor tenant fit-out works and supervise tenant occupation, ensuring compliance with building operations.
