Jora Malaysia seeks a Channel Marketing Analyst to execute channel strategy development and assist in creating curated strategies for clients in the Foodservice sector. You will gather data and distil insights to develop compelling value propositions and selling tools, working with Sales, Category, R&D and Planning teams.

The Channel Marketing Analyst (CMA) is responsible for the execution of Channel Strategy development & assisting in the development of curated strategy for clients. Through targeted gathering of data & information, the CMA will help build deep channel expertise and distil superior channel insights, which will be further refined to create “Value Propositions & Operator Business Solutions” for each client. The CMA will at times work with clients’ key partnering teams (i.e. Sales, Category, R&D, Planning, etc) to support the development compelling selling stories & associated selling tools to help to effectively communicate the solutions technical, product & service benefits and the growth of our client’s business.
Tertiary qualification in a business discipline or equivalent industry experience.
Qualification or business level experience.
Good understanding on marketing; Good influencing & interpersonal skills; Functional team skills, able to work effectively in fast moving cross functional teams; Adaptability – able to cope with change, think on their feet & bring clarity where ambiguity exists; Creative thinking capability to develop value propositions; Organisation and prioritization skills – able to plan and self-organize; Fresh Graduates with an energy/willingness to learn are encouraged to apply despite the likelihood of lacking hands-on experience.
Brand or Channel marketing; Experience in high pressure fast paced organizations (consultancy, Private Equity, Start Ups, etc); Structured approach to presentation; Leadership potential - hungry for leadership, a willingness to take on new & challenging tasks; Restaurant, Bakery, F&B industry or FMCG Retailing or Energy Sector experience.
Basic understanding of or firsthand experience in the Hospitality/Foodservice & FMCG industries, to anticipate and manage trends, technologies, markets and economics.
Knowledge of the customer and/or competitor landscape (in market).
