Jaya Grocer is seeking a motivated Cashier for its Malaysia stores. The role supports the Chief Cashier, manages daily cash handling, and ensures accurate sales reporting at the counter level.

You will assist in float preparation, stock levels, and daily reconciliations, while delivering friendly service and addressing customer inquiries with professionalism. This is a full-time opportunity in a dynamic retail environment.

Competenze

• Candidate must be 18 years old and above.
• Open for FULL TIME only.
• Minimum 1 years working experience as cashier or a fresh graduate with a minimum SPM level.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Basic communication skills and interpersonal skills.
• Customer satisfaction oriented.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Attention to detail and good in handling cash and POS system.
• Minimum education: SPM and above.
• KWSP, SOCSO, EIS contribution.
• Overtime pay.

Mansioni

• Generate POS IDs for ACC and cashiers when authorized by CC.
• Assist in preparing cash floats and distributing them to cashiers.
• Ensure cashier counters' total sales tally with daily sales and tabulate reports.
• Verify cash handling using daily sales report and hand over per SOP.
• Compile cashier documents and submit to Store Manager and accounts.
• Assist CC in pre-planning cashier department schedules and manpower.
• Attend to customer inquiries, handle complaints, provide solutions and alternatives.
• Resolve and document all cashier transaction errors before authorization of corrections.
• Assist in training subordinates and monitor performance.
• Ensure cashier workflows align with SOP/Handbook including tidiness and grooming.
• Brief subordinates on sales, marketing and promotions and provide feedback to superiors.
• Perform other duties related to general operations and ad-hoc tasks.
