Job summary

Qatar Airways is recruiting a Cargo Operations Supervisor based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The role oversees daily cargo operations, ensures QR standards are implemented, and leads staff to deliver customer service and revenue growth.

The position requires coordinating with GHA, customs, and HQ to optimize space and plan flights while maintaining safety and high-quality service. You must have legal rights to live and work in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Must have high school qualification with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in English language.
• Understanding of Cargo Procedures/ Acceptance/ office/ warehouse/ ramp/ People Management.
• IATA recognized dangerous goods knowledge.
• Experience with ramp handling and load control of all types of aircraft.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Ground Handling Agents (GHA) to ensure QR standards and procedures are adhered to.
• Ensure all safety measures are taken by operations staff as well as GHA.
• Maximize revenue with on-time performance for freighters.
• Handle customer requirements and resolve issues to reduce complaints.
• Support import cargo clearance and liaise with customs authorities and HQ.
• Coordinate flight planning and space utilization; ensure smooth movement of cargo and timely deliveries.
• Coordinate with customers/ Cargo claims supervisor at HQ on discrepancies and administrative issues.
