Job summary

ATX SEMICONDUCTOR (MELAKA) SDN. BHD. seeks a CAPEX planning specialist to manage annual CAPEX plans, budgets and capital investments for semiconductor manufacturing operations in Malaysia.

You will coordinate proposals, justifications and approvals, and align resources across engineering, production, finance and procurement. The role requires strong analytics, planning and cost-control capabilities, with proficiency in Excel and ERP/SAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, business, finance or related discipline.
• Experience in CAPEX planning, resource planning, manufacturing operations, or project management is preferred.
• Good knowledge of CAPEX budgeting, equipment investment, capacity planning and cost control.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and ERP/SAP systems.
• Strong analytical, planning, problem-solving and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across departments, bilingual in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor annual CAPEX plans, budgets, forecasts and investments.
• Coordinate CAPEX proposals, justifications and approvals.
• Plan and coordinate equipment, manpower and infrastructure resources for manufacturing requirements.
• Analyze production capacity, equipment utilization and future resource needs.
• Coordinate equipment procurement, delivery, installation and commissioning schedules.
• Monitor CAPEX project progress to ensure timely completion within budgets.
• Maintain CAPEX tracking records, schedules and resource planning reports.
• Monitor budget utilization, milestones and equipment readiness.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Finance, Procurement and China-based counterparts on CAPEX and resource planning.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvements.
