Job summary

JH Creative is seeking a full-time Interpreter to provide real-time Cantonese–English and English–Cantonese interpretation over the phone for clients in healthcare, customer service, and business services. The role is hybrid, based in Puchong, Malaysia, with some work-from-home flexibility depending on client needs and scheduling.

Responsibilities include accurate message conveyance, confidentiality, and adherence to call protocols.

Qualifications

• Strong bilingual proficiency in Cantonese and English with clear, professional verbal communication in both languages.
• Ability to perform consecutive interpretation accurately, preserving tone, intent, and meaning.
• High level of active listening, concentration, and attention to detail in a fast-paced call environment.
• Professional telephone etiquette and customer service orientation, with calm, neutral handling of sensitive conversations.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time Cantonese–English and English–Cantonese interpretation over the phone for clients in healthcare, customer service, and business services.
• Follow client-specific guidelines and call protocols while maintaining confidentiality.
• Participate in ongoing training and stay up-to-date on terminology; collaborate with coordinators to ensure service quality.
