Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the cancer centre, including patient scheduling, workflow, and treatment coordination.
• Ensure smooth and timely delivery of cancer care services with minimal waiting time.
• Optimise resource allocation, facility utilisation, and service capacity.
• Drive achievement of departmental KPIs (e.g., patient throughput, waiting time, service turnaround time, and operational efficiency).
• Implement corrective action plans to address performance gaps.
• Manage the centre within the approved annual budget.
• Monitor operational costs, including manpower, consumables, equipment, and maintenance.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimisation and operational efficiency improvement.
• Support staff training, development, and competency compliance.
• Maintain compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
• Support audits, inspections, and accreditation processes (e.g., ACHS and MSQH).
• Ensure a high standard of patient care, comfort, and service quality.
• Address patient feedback and implement service improvement initiatives.
• Enhance the overall patient journey and patient satisfaction.
• Support operational readiness for new equipment, services, and future expansion.
