INTEGRATED ONCOLOGY CENTER (KUALA LUMPUR) SDN. BHD. is seeking a Department Manager for Operational Efficiency in the Laboratory. You will lead a team to ensure safe, high-quality lab services, implement SOPs for patient care, and oversee budgeting and procurement within the lab.

The role focuses on enhancing efficiency, maintaining safety standards, and collaborating with hospital management to uphold excellence in cancer care and overall patient outcomes in Malaysia.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Identify potential risks and maintain a safe environment.
• Demonstrate operational expertise in laboratory procedures relevant to the unit.
• Lead and guide staff to prepare and fulfill responsibilities within the unit.
• Deliver safe and effective services to achieve customer satisfaction by ensuring competencies and orientation checklists are completed on time.
• Address customer complaints promptly and effectively.
• Attend and coordinate mandatory staff programs to keep laboratory knowledge up to date.
• Collaborate with Laboratory Management Team to control expenditures within budget and implement cost-saving measures.
• Lead procurement decisions for new laboratory equipment.
• Maintain effective communication with staff and other departments.
• Implement SOPs for patient care and apply strong management skills in laboratory processes.
