Job summary

TTM Technologies Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. invites a detail-oriented Lab Technician to join our in-house calibration team in Penang. You will set up calibration standards, operate reference instruments, and maintain calibration software to ensure accuracy across PCB and semiconductor processes.

The role requires 2–5 years' QA/QC or lab experience, with a Diploma in Science or Engineering. You will support MSA activities and audits, ensuring records and supplier status are up to date.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Science or Engineering is required.
• 2–5 years' experience in PCB/Semiconductor industries.
• Experience in QA/QC or as a Lab Technician.
• Proficient with various laboratory tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate in-house calibration equipment per approved procedures.
• Prepare calibration reports and maintain records of calibration activities.
• Support MSA activities for critical manufacturing and inspection equipment.
• Coordinate equipment availability with production, engineering and quality departments.
• Assist internal and external audits as required.

Job description

1. Perform in-house calibration equipment according to approved procedures.

2. Set up and operate calibration standards, reference instruments, and calibration software.

3. Perform intermediate checks and functional verification between calibration intervals.

4. Prepare calibration reports and maintain calibration records.

5. Support execution of MSA activities for critical manufacturing and inspection equipment.

6. Support internal audits and external customer audits.

7. Coordinate equipment availability with production, engineering, and quality department.

8. Maintain records of laboratory accreditation certificates and approved supplier status.

Requirements

• Diploma in Science or Engineering
• 2-5 years' experience in PCB/Semiconductor industries.
• Experience in QAQC or Lab Technician Role
• Proficiency in using various laboratory tools and equipment.
