Job summary

Cabin & Cloud, a dessert café by LOVE A LOAF in Bayan Lepas, Penang, is hiring a Service Crew to deliver friendly service and assist daily café operations, from greeting guests to handling orders.

You will prepare beverages and desserts, operate the POS, maintain cleanliness, follow hygiene and halal standards, and work closely with the team. Fresh graduates are welcome; weekend shifts may be required, and training and career development opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Positive attitude, responsible, and willing to learn.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Able to work on weekends and public holidays if required.
• Experience in F&B or café industry is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Recommend menu items, beverages, and desserts to customers when needed.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints politely and professionally.
• Prepare and serve beverages, desserts, and light bites according to company standards.
• Ensure food presentation and quality are maintained consistently.
• Follow proper food handling and hygiene procedures.
• Support daily preparation and replenishment of ingredients and supplies.
• Operate cashier and POS system accurately.
• Handle cash, card, and e-wallet transactions responsibly.
• Ensure proper recording of sales and transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining area, counter, equipment, and workstations.
• Follow hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards at all times.
• Assist in cleaning duties before opening and after closing.
• Work closely with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
• Support stock arrangement and inventory checking when required.
• Follow company SOPs, Halal compliance, and food safety standards.
• Assist with any other duties assigned by the management.

JOB SUMMARY

The Service Crew is responsible for delivering excellent customer service and ensuring smooth daily café operations at Cabin & Cloud. This role includes serving food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness, handling cashier duties, and creating a warm and welcoming experience for customers in line with the Cabin & Cloud brand concept.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer Service

• Welcome and greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Recommend menu items, beverages, and desserts to customers when needed.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints politely and professionally.
• Ensure customers enjoy a pleasant dining experience.

Food & Beverage Service

• Follow proper food handling and hygiene procedures.
• Support daily preparation and replenishment of ingredients and supplies.

Outlet Cleanliness & Maintenance
