Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a dedicated Café Staff to support daily café operations in Selangor, Malaysia. You will prepare beverages, assist with food prep, and ensure a friendly customer experience in a fast-paced café environment.

Ideal candidates will have at least a minimum of SPM and good English and Bahasa Malaysia communication skills. Shift-work including weekends and public holidays is required, with training provided for coffee preparation and equipment handling.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or equivalent.
• Prior experience in café, F&B, or customer service is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of coffee preparation (training can be provided).
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is a plus).
• Positive attitude, responsible, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, tea and other beverages according to standard recipes.
• Operate coffee machines and ensure proper maintenance of equipment.
• Take customer orders accurately and handle payments (cash / POS system).
• Provide friendly and professional customer service at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the café, including workstations and seating areas.
• Assist in food preparation and ensure food safety standards are followed.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management and restocking.
• Handle customer feedback or complaints in a professional manner.
• Support opening and closing duties of the café.
