Job summary

WK Consortium SB is hiring a C&S Site Supervisor in Sabah to lead daily site operations for high-rise and major civil projects. The role requires ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency while coordinating with subcontractors and vendors.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma/Certificate in Civil Engineering or related field, 3–5 years of hands-on site supervision experience, and the ability to read CS drawings. English and Bahasa Malaysia proficiency are preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret C&S drawings and blueprints.
• Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Experience supervising high-rise buildings, residential, or major civil projects.
• Familiarity with Malaysian construction standards, CIDB guidelines, safety regulations (DOSH/OSHA).
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily Civil & Structural site works, ensuring compliance with drawings, specs, and standards.
• Coordinate activities of site workers, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain workflow and schedule.
• Conduct routine QA/QC inspections of concrete works, formwork, reinforcement, and brickwork; address non-compliance.
• Enforce OSH regulations, lead toolbox talks, and ensure PPE usage on site.
• Monitor progress, document material deliveries, and assist the Project Manager in progress reporting.
• Identify and resolve on-site discrepancies between drawings and site conditions with engineers.
