Job summary

Briswood Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Senior Construction Supervisor with a Civil Engineering background to lead site oversight on high-rise developments and ensure compliance with drawings, specs, and safety standards.

You will supervise construction activities, review method statements and shop drawings, coordinate with consultants, authorities, and stakeholders, and manage QA/QC and progress reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 7–10 years of inspection experience on multidisciplinary building projects, including high-rise developments.
• Mandarin required for internal communication.
• Experience in construction supervision or project management.
• Ability to interpret contract documents, drawings and specifications.
• Willingness to work six days per week and be based at the construction site.

Responsibilities

• Technical oversight: Manage civil/structural works per designs, drawings, specs, and HSE rules.
• Site supervision: Oversee construction activities and ensure quality, safety, and compliance.
• Submission review: Review method statements, shop drawings, and programs.
• Quality and certification: Monitor QA/QC, certify as-built quantities and drawings.
• Stakeholder coordination: Lead meetings with contractor, consultants, authorities, and developers; resolve issues.
• Reporting and documentation: Maintain documentation and progress reports; flag risks and gaps.
• Team leadership: Guide site staff to ensure supervision and accountability.
