Job summary

ULTRA CLEAN TECHNOLOGY (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. is seeking a procurement-oriented professional in Penang. The role focuses on planning, buying, sourcing and expediting materials from approved local and overseas vendors, while ensuring on-time delivery and quality.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's or Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical or related fields, with familiarity in MRP systems and strong negotiation skills. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply and join a growing manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical or equivalent.
• Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics/Industrial Systems Engineering.
• At least 1 year experience for Diploma holders; fresh graduates welcome.
• Knowledge of MRP system advantageous.
• Ability to perform in fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, buy, source and expedit materials from approved vendor lists locally and overseas.
• Ensure on-time delivery and meet quality requirements.
• Negotiate pricing and commercial terms with suppliers.
• Maintain supplier scorecard programs.
• Support inventory management, cost reduction, and materials availability.
• Perform other duties as required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for planning, buying, sourcing and expediting materials, commodities from approved vendor lists both locally and overseas


• Ensure on-time delivery of materials from suppliers and meeting quality requirements


• Negotiate pricing, commercial terms with local and overseas suppliers


• Maintain and execute suppliers scorecard programs


• Work towards achieving given objectives such as inventory management, cost reduction, materials availability and quality management


• Other duties as required

Knowledge, Skills, Experience:

• Open to fresh graduates with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Mechanical or equivalent


• At least 1 years working experience for Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical or equivalent


• Knowledge of MRP system will be advantageous


• Able to perform in fast paced environment; Preferably experience from manufacturing environment


• Possess good interpersonal and negotiation skills
