ULTRA CLEAN TECHNOLOGY (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. in Penang, Malaysia is seeking a Senior Manager, Category Management to lead strategic supply chain initiatives across global sites. The role focuses on developing and executing SCM strategies for major programs and commodity management.

You will build supplier networks, drive localisation, implement SAP for SCM roll-out, and mentor a high-performance team while expanding supply chain capabilities to support rapid growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering degree preferred; directly related experience considered.
• APICS/CPIM certification preferred.
• 10+ years in fast-paced manufacturing with broad knowledge of commodities and strategic supply chain management.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of supply chain strategies for major programs and global initiatives.
• Design supply chain to meet KPI goals and support manufacturing sites in Asia, EMEA, and US.
• Establish relationships with suppliers for sheet metal, frames, and related products to increase agility.
• Drive localization and continuity plans to ensure robust supply chains and on-time delivery.
• Roll out SAP for SCM and mentor the team in strategy execution.

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for establishing the strategic vision and operational priorities to support current and projected growth ensuring that the supply chain to meet our business and operational needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Lead the development and execution of the supply chain strategies for strategic program and major corporate initiatives with focus on the future direction of UCT’s semiconductor equipment

Design of the supply chain (selection, qualification, and development) that meets our strategic and operational KPI goals

Build & develop supply chain for Globally to support our manufacturing sites both in Asia, EMEA & US respectively

Establish Sheet Metal, Frames and associated products supplier/distribution relationships worldwide to increase supply chain agility

Part of the Strategic Global SCM leadership escalation team supporting any critical supply line issues

Timely implement inventory stocking programs with suppliers to reduce lead-times, inventory cost, turns and cash flow

Drive localisation by site with BCP plan to ensure continuity of supply for Build-to-Print Commodity

Drive supply chain performance in achieving cost, delivery, quality, time-to-market objectives

Collaborate and work closely with our customers on source change strategy & build business justifications mitigate supply risk to attain a robust supply chain assuring business continuity

Create and enforce business processes that ensure timely, accurate, and automated data flow (collection, processing, storage, and analysis)

Lead supply chain transition of project/products transfers and ensure QCD goals are successfully met

Champion and support the implementation - roll out SAP for SCM

Educational/Certification Requirement:

BA/BS degree in Mechanical Engineering strongly preferred. Directly related experience may be considered.

APICS/CPIM certification preferred

Experience Requirement:

Work Experience: 10+ years or more in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a broad knowledge of commodity, materials program & strategic supply chain management:

Experience in gas delivery components/sheet metal parts preferred.

Proven strong team building and employee development experience

Working knowledge of quick-turn, engineer-to-order environment
