Job summary

BCM Electronics Corporation Sdn Bhd, located in Kulim Hi-Tech Industrial Park, Kedah, Malaysia, seeks a purchasing professional to manage material planning and the purchasing of electronics components for customer orders.

You will issue purchase orders, monitor supplier delivery performance, reschedule deliveries, manage inventory, and coordinate with sourcing officers and production planners to ensure materials supply meets production needs, with additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Diploma required; 2 years purchasing experience in electronics manufacturing.
• Knowledge of purchasing mechanical and electronic parts.
• Cost structure knowledge and good negotiation skills.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Material planning and purchase of materials according to customer order.
• Issue purchase orders to suppliers and monitor delivery performance.
• Rescheduling of order deliveries from suppliers.
• Inventory management and control to meet company goals.
• Coordinate with sourcing officers and production planners to ensure sufficient materials supply to production.
• Undertake other relevant tasks as directed by the Superior from time to time.

• At least 2 years of working experience in purchasing field in an electronics-manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of purchasing mechanical and electronic parts.
• Knowledge of cost structure and good negotiation skills.
