Job summary

Agensi Pekerjaan ProTalent Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced procurement professional to manage the purchasing team and ensure timely material supply for production schedules.

You will supervise purchase activities, issue orders, release forecasts and coordinate delivery plans with suppliers. The role emphasizes supplier relationship management, risk mitigation and cross-functional collaboration across Chinese, English and Malay communicating environments.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of related purchasing experience.
• Experience in purchasing PCB, electronics components and mechanical/plastic parts.
• Familiar with electronic supply channels and supply chain management.
• Demonstrates teamwork, leadership, and communication skills in multiple languages.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing team to meet procurement and inventory management objectives.
• Supervise purchasing activities including issuance of orders, release forecasts and delivery plans with suppliers.
• Ensure materials are supplied smoothly to meet planning schedule.
• Handle escalation to suppliers to overcome material shortages and supply gaps to meet customer demand.
• Review supplier buffer stock levels and monitor leadtime trends to analyze supply risk and develop mitigation.
• Engage with suppliers on materials supply issues, accounts payable issues, non-conformance issues and various other issues.
• Review supplier quarterly (SQBR) rating
