Compart Systems Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a proactive Buyer to join the Purchasing team. The role focuses on sourcing, purchasing, supplier management, and cost optimization to support efficient manufacturing operations.

The successful candidate will manage POs based on PRs, negotiate with suppliers, monitor delivery schedules, and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards. Diploma holders with relevant experience are encouraged to apply.

Qualificações

• Diploma in any discipline or at least 2 years of purchasing experience.
• Experience in purchasing, procurement, or sourcing within a manufacturing environment is an advantage.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and AS9100 standards is an added advantage.
• Good communication, negotiation, and supplier management skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.

Responsabilidades

• Manage purchasing and sourcing of tooling, equipment, spare parts, chemicals, services, and general production supplies.
• Process Purchase Orders (PO) based on approved Purchase Requisitions (PR).
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for competitive pricing, quality, and timely delivery.
• Monitor purchase delivery schedules, supplier performance, and expedite urgent orders.
• Support cost reduction initiatives and purchasing process improvements.
• Oversee tooling, chemical, and lubricant inventory and store operations.
• Verify Goods Received Notes (GRN) against Purchase Orders before submission to Finance.
• Ensure compliance with company purchasing procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements.

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Buyer to join our Purchasing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, supplier management, and cost optimization to support smooth manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage purchasing and sourcing of tooling, equipment, spare parts, chemicals, services, and general production supplies.
• Process Purchase Orders (PO) based on approved Purchase Requisitions (PR).
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and timely delivery.
• Monitor purchase delivery schedules, supplier performance, and expedite urgent orders.
• Support cost reduction initiatives and purchasing process improvements.
• Oversee tooling, chemical, and lubricant inventory and store operations.
