AGENSI PEKERJAAN TRUST RECRUIT SDN. BHD. is seeking a committed Purchaser to support procurement and supply chain operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role focuses on material planning, supplier coordination, PO management, and ensuring timely material availability for production needs.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of purchasing experience, with strong MRP knowledge and ERP proficiency, and a proactive, analytical mindset.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in supply chain or related field.
• 2–4 years purchasing experience.
• Experience in EMS/OEM/electronics manufacturing preferred.
• Strong knowledge of MRP and inventory planning.
• Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute purchasing activities to support production and prototypes.
• Manage MRP to ensure material availability.
• Issue and manage purchase orders with pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with suppliers for on-time delivery and quality.
• Monitor inventory and minimize excess or shortages.
• Resolve supplier delivery, quality, and invoice issues.
• Support cost reduction including freight optimization and supplier negotiations.
• Maintain purchasing data in ERP/MRP systems.
• Collaborate with Planning, Production, Supply Chain and Finance teams.

Job description

We are looking for a committed and detail-oriented Purchaser to support our procurement and supply chain operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for material planning, supplier coordination, purchase order management, and ensuring timely material availability to support production requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Execute purchasing activities to support production and prototype builds.

Manage and monitor Material Requirement Planning (MRP) to ensure material availability.

Issue and manage purchase orders based on agreed pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.

Coordinate closely with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and quality compliance.

Monitor inventory levels and minimize excess, obsolete, or shortage risks.

Resolve supplier delivery, quality, and invoice-related issues effectively.

Support cost reduction initiatives including freight optimization and supplier negotiations.

Maintain accurate purchasing data and planning parameters within ERP/MRP systems.

Work closely with internal stakeholders including Planning, Production, Supply Chain, and Finance teams.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.

Minimum 2–4 years of purchasing or procurement experience.

Candidates from EMS / OEM / Electronics & Electrical manufacturing environments are highly preferred.

Strong understanding of MRP, inventory planning, and supply chain processes.

Good negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems.

Able to work independently in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
