Job summary

BOILERMASTER EM SDN BHD in Malaysia invites a skilled Business Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operations and strategic projects from its Bintulu, Sarawak base. You will drive process improvements, manage budgets, and oversee performance across departments to boost profitability and customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates bring a Diploma or Bachelor’s in a relevant field and at least 5 years in industrial operations, with strong leadership and ERP experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in operations management, business management, or a similar role in industrial/manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of operational processes, supply chain, and resource planning.
• Proven track record in process improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency optimisation.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
• Strong financial acumen with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Proficiency in MS Office and experience with ERP systems.
• Knowledge of HSE regulations and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day operations to achieve objectives.
• Oversee P&L, budgets, forecasting, and resource allocation.
• Analyse KPIs and prepare performance reports for management.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, maintenance, logistics and other departments.
• Develop and implement policies and process improvements.
• Identify challenges and implement solutions for business continuity and customer satisfaction.
• Mentor operations staff and foster a high-performance culture.
