Job summary

DXN Holdings Bhd is seeking a Business Development Section Manager (Malaysia) to lead client acquisition, consultative selling, and strategic market development for biomedical laboratory services. The role focuses on hospitals, clinics, and corporate clients with strong healthcare domain knowledge.

The position requires 2–5+ years in sales/BD within medical labs or pharma, and excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biomedical/science/healthcare field.
• 2–5+ years in sales/marketing/business development in medical labs, diagnostics, or pharma.
• Solid understanding of clinical laboratory operations and diagnostic testing.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and public-speaking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Client Acquisition: identify and target new opportunities with hospitals, clinics, and healthcare organizations.
• Consultative Selling: explain diagnostic panels and testing values to healthcare professionals.
• Account Management: build and nurture relationships with doctors, clinic managers, and executives.
• Sales Strategy: plan and execute territory plans to grow market share and hit targets.
• Market Research: monitor competitors, pricing trends, and regulations in the region.
• Proposals & Tender: prepare commercial proposals and bid responses with internal teams.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SECTION MANAGER (MALAYSIA)

• Client Acquisition: Identify and target new business opportunities with hospitals, clinics, medical centers, and corporate clients.
• Consultative Selling: Promote clinical and anatomical pathology laboratory services by explaining complex diagnostic panels and testing values to healthcare professionals.
• Account Management: Build and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers, including doctors, clinic managers, and healthcare executives.
• Sales Strategy: Plan and execute territory business plans to grow market share and hit assigned performance metrics.
• Market Research: Monitor competitor activities, pricing trends, and new healthcare regulations or testing demands in the region.
• Proposals & Tenders: Prepare commercial proposals, service agreements, and bid responses in coordination with internal technical teams.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Science, Medical Technology, Biotechnology, Biology, Nursing, Pharmacy, or a Business/Marketing degree with strong healthcare experience.
• Experience: 2 to 5+ years of proven experience in sales, marketing, or business development within the medical laboratory, diagnostic, or pharmaceutical industries.
• Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of clinical laboratory operations, medical terminology, and diagnostic testing is a strong advantage.
• Skills: Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and public-speaking abilities.
